Terms of Use

This is the English translation of the Turkish text. If the two differ, the Turkish text prevails.

1. The Service

Location Assist is a family safety app in which family members share their locations with each other by mutual consent. The service is provided by Webasist Teknoloji Limited Şirketi (Davutpaşa V.D. 8001187915).

2. Terms of Use

• You may use the app only with people who consent to sharing their location, or with children you are the legal guardian of.
• Tracking a person without their knowledge or consent is prohibited; an account found doing so is closed.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

3. Limitation of Liability

Location accuracy depends on the device, the network and the operating system. Location Assist does not replace emergency services; in an emergency, call 112.

4. Premium Subscription

• Premium covers every family circle the subscriber owns or is a parent in; everyone in those families gets Premium. A subscription held by someone with the member role does not make a family Premium unless they own that family, and a subscription held by someone with the child role never does.
• If the subscriber leaves the family, is removed from it, has their role changed to anything other than parent (unless they own the family) or deletes their account, the Premium that their subscription gave that family ends. The subscription itself keeps renewing and being charged until it is cancelled in the store; deleting the app or the account does not cancel it.
• The subscription renews automatically for the chosen period (monthly or yearly), and the fee is charged to your Google Play or App Store account. If the purchase screen showed a free trial, the first charge is taken when the trial ends.
• You can cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. In the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period for it not to renew; in Google Play, cancelling before the renewal date is enough. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period. A free trial is not charged if it is cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends in the App Store, or before it ends in Google Play.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the store concerned.

5. Ads

Only on the free plan, accounts that are not child accounts (parents or members) have a single ad space; ads are non-personalised. No ads are shown on child accounts. Premium subscribers see no ads.

6. Ending Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Details: Account and data deletion.
